From 25th May 2018, new rules on how companies hold customer data have become fully enforceable throughout the European Union.
An overview of the main changes under GDPR – The aim of the GDPR is to protect all EU citizens from privacy and data breaches in an increasingly data-driven world that is vastly different from the time in which the 1995 directive was established. The GDPR will come in to effect on 25ht May 2018 in the EU.
What constitutes personal data? Information that can be used to identify a person. It can be anything from a name, a photo, an email address, bank details, posts on social networking websites, medical information or a computer IP address.
What we’ll look to implement. Prepare a robust information security policy – and keep it up to date. Appoint a dedicated person to oversee data protection. Provide ‘Privacy Impact Assessments’ (PIA’S) – otherwise known as ‘Risk Assessments’. Develop a Breach Notification process. Brief all of our officials on data protection requirements.

Who do we share your personal information with? We do not share any personal information.
Where do we collect your personal information? We collect personal data when arranging deliveries and processing payments.
Do you have to give us your personal information? No, you do not have to give us your personal information.
What rights do you have over your personal information? The law gives you a number of rights in relation to your personal information including; the right to access the personal information we have about you. The right to get us to correct personal information that is wrong or incomplete. The right to ask us to stop using or delete your personal information. From 25th May you will have the right to any personal information we have collected from you in an easily re-useable format.
